Is there freedom of religion in IRAN?
Q. I don't know much about the islam religion but click or copy and paste the link below. This picture was taken in Tehran, IRAN. Do you see what I see? church pews with CROSSES on them. Maybe Iran's government isn't as bad as some like to claim after all! But then again I could be mistaken and this could be some kind of symbol of the Islam religion..

A. There are some Christians churches in Iran, but Iran is an officially Islamic state. A dress code is strictly enforced and Islamic law is enforced. Basically it's what Republicans want the US to be like for Christianity.

According to religion is Iran, promiscuous women are responsible for earthquakes?
Q. Religion you have to love the utter horseshit that it produces. For example Promiscuous women are responsible for earthquakes, a senior Iranian cleric has said. Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi told worshippers in Tehran last Friday that they had to stick to strict codes of modesty to protect themselves. Many women who do not dress modestly lead young men astray and spread adultery in society which increases earthquakes, he said. Tens of thousands of people have died in Iran earthquakes in the last decade. Interestingly, I did some quick investigating and learned that there was a massive orgy in Reykjavik 16 hours before the Eyjafjallajoekull volcano erupted. The symbolism should be lost on no one.

Why are Jews so ungrateful to Iran?
Q. The Jews would be nothing today were it not for their liberation from captivity in Babylon by Cyrus the Great of Persian. The Persians even financed the building of the Temple in Jerusalem and exempted Jews from tribute and military service. Indeed, much of Judaism is inherited from the old Persian religion, Zoroastrianism. Iran has given Israel a President (Katsav) and a Defense Minister ( Mofaz), yet the Israelis want to world to impose sanctions on Iran?! Is this how Jews behave towards those that helped them in the past? In Iran Jews are free: they have their own synagogues, their own schools, magazines and have their own elected member of parliament. Jews are some of the oldest Iranians with a 3000 year proud heritage. Many Jews… [cont.]

A. Could you plz tell me, is Zoroastrianism the religion of fire? The symbol of fire: The energy of the creator is represented in Zoroastrianism by fire and the sun which are both enduring, radiant, pure and life sustaining. Zoroastrians usually pray in front of some form of fire (or any source of light). I'm sorry I did not see the connection between Judaism.

are there still followers of the Azali religion outside Iran;are there any in the Western countries?
Q. the Babist religion related to Baha'i
Asked by Kevin7 - Thu May 7 11:49:07 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The answer appears to be "No." Numerous links all say the same thing about the Babist religion (not Baha'i): Today there are perhaps only a few hundred Azalis left, scattered around Iran. It was the followers of Mirza Husayn Ali Nuri who would later evolve into the Bahai faith. Subh al-Azal had gone into hiding in Iraq and appears to have urged public dissimulation on the Babis. Relations between him and his brother soured, but it was some time before there occurred in 1867 a complete split between Azali Babism and what became Baha ism. Subh al-Azal was eventually exiled to, and died in, Cyprus. Azali Babis were involved in Iran s nationalist reform and today there still exists a small Azali Babi community.

Not only is oil production lower, thus costing us millions at the pump, but our tax dollars are being spent like water to support this war. If anything it is economic stupidity. Religion is a huge problem in these countries because of the Islamic belief that anyone who does not believe in Islam has not right to live (we are all considered infidels.) Religious minorities are persecuted and often killed. Those who chose to leave Islam are also often killed. A. You can worship God however you wish to worship him in your heart. Love and knowledge of God cannot be controlled by national borders or state laws. Perhaps your ability to assemble or speak freely may be challenged or denied in some places, but no other human being can reach the heart you give to God.
